Florence Bergt reports the following:
"The 4th Grade was the
first year for our class after the school was started up again
after WWII. You can see that there were a few of us who
started out in 4th grade and continued on to graduate. As
far as I can tell, only two of us went to 'all' 9 grades, Jack Mooallem (I confirmed this with
him) and Dale Tropp. The rest of us (George Peng (Shinichi Nitta),
Grace Ting, Susan Riess and myself, were away from ASIJ
for at least 1 year at one time or another."
