"I’ll go, if you go" was the
first thing I heard from a friend who called to tell me about
the reunion that would put me in touch with friends and
classmates that I had not seen in 27 years! Looking back, I see
that I was younger and thinner than I am today, but the warm
feelings remain fresh.
It was easy to recognize some. Flo, Grace,
Tanya and Dale are ever lovely. I didn’t know Bobby Tropp
until she smiled her beautiful smile! I didn’t recognize
others. Roger was the bearded-one! I loved visiting with my long
past "best- buddy", Laurie, and would you believe we
never ran out of things to say? Then there was sweet Grace Nao,
Jon, Hiroshi, Hajime and the very handsome, Bill Tsui!
I remember far less of the events, than of
the joy of again seeing those who once were so near and who
remain so dear. Our 40th reunion, in October 2001,
will be the best yet. "Be there or be square"… ohhh,
you can tell I live in Ohio!
