Extra, Extra!
Detentionees released

By: Hanabi Staff Reporter

New York, NY. During the July 4th weekend, 2001 several detentionees were released by Mr. Roberts after 40 years and they promptly headed towards the bright lights. Like moths drawn to a flame these lost souls decided to paint the town black and gold. Escorted by troublemakers Sa and Walker (previously having been reported creating unrest in Columbus) their followers, Lee, Lees, and Mooallem were last seen being led astray in the Big Apple.

When asked to comment on the escapade,  leader Pam Walker stated "no comment, don't you think we all look pretty good for old folks?" The rabble with her, however, was not as reserved. Their resounding response was "speak for yourself about  being old." Oh well, just another day in the City. So many stories, so little time.

Shadowed by our photographer their photos were taken at Brenda's house, a Japanese restaurant and several other places. Click any of the pictures to see enlarged versions and additional photos.
