After ASIJ graduation, I headed for the University of Southern California, earning a degree in Industrial Management, and then spent five years in the Naval Supply Corps stationed in Kamiseya, Japan. After getting my MBA at USC and then fifteen years of experiencing corporate and small business life in San Francisco and Eugene, Oregon, I found my true calling in teaching. I taught Statistics, Economics, Operations Management, and a dozen other Management/Business courses at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. I retired in June of 1998, after twenty years in the classroom. During that time I was married for sixteen years, and have no children.
Since then, I have been living in a RV, traveling throughout the United States and Canada, plus taking occasional international trips. My interests include music, cooking, photography and writing. I'm working on my first best seller now. It's about a high school reunion… |
