| Since then:
I have been in Southern California for
the last couple of years after living in Northern California
almost entirely after leaving Japan. I live east of Los
Angeles in a hilly area on a couple of acres of fruit trees;
avocado, apple, peach, persimmon, etc. My lady, Liz, and my
dog, Max, keep my life interesting and spend the majority of
their time attempting to fight off the vermin and pests that
also like the fruit. My daughter, Kim, is a controller for a
small medical supply company in Northern California and her
husband is an architect. My son, Dave, is a web designer in
Las Vegas and his wife is in real estate.
I have been a bum for the last couple of
years after having spent the majority of my business career
in the computer software business. I have traveled all over
the USA and Europe on business and have run into several
from ASIJ. I met Sophie Sa on an airplane, Martin Vehanan at
a trade show, Sharon Doyle at an airport in Denver, and have
kept in touch with Dave and Nina Sassoon and Stu Bennett who
lived close by for several years. Being unemployed, I would
appreciate any canned goods or spare dividend checks that
any of you could part with. You are all welcome at our home,
one at a time please, to enjoy the beautiful scenery and
weather. |
