Susan attended the University of
Wisconsin in Madison and earned a Liberal Arts degree. She
went into teaching but found out that wasn't for her and
switched to banking. Banking must have suited her because
Susan rapidly advanced to become an executive at an
American - Belgian bank.
After college she married Joseph Rubin
and had a son, Benjamin.
On a sadder note, Susan developed
pancreatic cancer and died eight months later which we
believe to have been around 1993.
What was particularly striking about
Susan was her wonderful smile. Every picture of her,
starting in the fifth grade, has that pretty smile and that’s
the way we will always remember her.
