Stephens-Caligiuri, Tanya A.

Senior memory:

"Do you know where I can get some blue yarn?" … poise plus … "it's the best book" … beautiful blond hair … Clara: such nonsense!

Since then:

We left Japan immediately after graduating from ASIJ in 1961, and found ourselves next in Djakarta, Indonesia. I lived there with my family for a while, then visited on vacations while I went to the U. of Western Australia in Perth. Next I found myself in New York City at Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School. I was able to escape NYC by moving to Southern California in 1965, wherein my real life began and I have stayed ever since.

My incarnations include techie in the music studios in Hollywood for five years; legal secretary; and computer programmer (beginning on mainframes, no less). I worked for Wang Laboratories as a System Consultant for 11 years, then private contractor for a few more.

Meanwhile, I was married in 1975 to a fabulous guy, and we had a wonderful life together (no kids); he died in 1996. In 1997 I was introduced to my current sweetheart and husband, and in 1998 we were married. We are retired together and living happily ever after in Westlake Village, CA.
